The director had sent out a casting call for this movie in July on his Facebook page, looking for actors and singers between the age group of 18-25. Much like his previous films, this movie will also introduce a host of newcomers.
Although this marks Kalidas’ debut in Malayalam, the actor has already acted in two Tamil movies titled Oru Pakka Kathai and Meen Kuzhambum Mann Paanaiyum, which are yet to release. As a child actor, he was seen in Sathyan Anthikkad’s National award winning film, Kochu Kochu Santhoshangal. For his second film, Ente Veedu Appuvinteyum, he had received the National award for best child artist.
