Kamal Haasan was hospitalised this morning after a bout of food poisoning. The Uttama Villain actor had complained of nausea and lethargy earlier this week, and was brought in for an examination today when his symptoms worsened. We hear that the doctors have attributed his sudden sickness to the hectic schedule of Papanasam, for which he has been travelling extensively.
Kamal’s publicist assures us that there is ‘nothing to worry’ and that he will be discharged at the earliest – possibly this evening or tomorrow morning. Ever the professional, the actor will go directly to the Papanasam shooting spot once he’s given the go ahead health-wise.
