Kamal Haasan Loves Manam

Actor Kamal Haasan was moved to tears by the Telugu movie, Manam. The actor, who watched the movie recently, became emotional while viewing the scenes that featured the late Akkineni Nageswara Rao. “I have been a great fan of ANR sir and will always be. The movie is funny and feelgood, but I found watching it a bittersweet experience. While everyone laughed at the comedy scenes, I was not able to do so because I was remembering the good times I had with ANR. Manam is a fitting tribute to ANR and I really appreciate everybody who’s worked on it!” he said.

The movie, produced by Annapurna Studios, stars the Akkineni trio – Nageswara Rao, Nagarjuna and Naga Chaithanya. Actresses Shriya Saran and Samantha Ruth Prabhu are the female leads in the film directed by Yaavarum Nalam fame Vikram Kumar. The flick has been declared a hit by trade analysts.
