Kamal Haasan To Revive ‘Thalaivan Irukkiraan’ Soon

Kamal Haasan will revive his Thalaivan Irukkiraan soon. The actor announced the film in 2012. But, it

was never officially launched. In a recent interview, the actor confirmed that he will begin work on the political drama once he is done with Viswaroopam 2 and Sabaash Naidu. 

In conversation with Silverscreen, Kamal Haasan’s spokesperson confirmed the news. “Kamal Haasan’s next film after Sabash Naidu will be Thalaivan Irukiraan. After  completing work on Viswaroopam 2 and Sabash Naidu, he will start working on this new film.”

At present, Kamal Haasan and team are working on the post-production of Viswaroopam 2. “The post-production work for Viswaroopam 2 is currently going on in full swing. This is predominantly a VFX driven film and the VFx work has already started in Los Angeles. Kamal Haasan will be flying abroad for the shoot of  a few patchwork for Viswaroopam 2. Kamal had earlier officially announced a film with director Rajesh Selva of Thoongavanam fame and he will begin work on that film as well.”

Viswaroopam 2 has Pooja Kumar, Andea and Rahul Bose. The film is expected to release later this year.
