Kamal Haasan will begin the next schedule of Sabash Naidu in December. The project has been on the backburner since Kamal’s fall earlier this year. The actor suffered a compound fracture that needed long periods of rest.

According to reports, Kamal will kickstart the next schedule in Vishakapatnam. Follwing this, a schedule in Chennai is planned. The film has been facing delays ever since it was launched. Earlier this year, Kamal took over as director from Rajeev Kumar.
“My director has taken ill. Extremely ill. The unfortunate setback occurred when we were on the fourth day of our recce in LA. It is diagnosed as Lyme disease. A rare infection prevalent in Europe and North America. I am now directing the film,” said Kamal in a press release.
The film is based on the character of Balram Naidu from Kamal’s Dasavathaaram(2008). The film also stars Shruti Haasan, Saurabh Shukla, Ramya Krishnan, and Roger Narayanan.
