Debutant director Arun Chidambaram’s Kanavu Variyam can now be streamed online on Netflix in over 190 countries, including India.
The movie, which hit screens on February 25, revolved around organic farming in Tamil Nadu, and was also a favorite at film festivals.

The director played the lead role in the movie, and had also written the story, screenplay, dialogues and lyrics. Jiya, who played the female lead, made her acting debut with Kanavu Variyam.
Ilavarasu, Black Pandy, Prof.Ku.Gnanasambandan, Yog Japee and Sendhi Kumari played pivotal roles in the movie.
Kanavu Variyam was bankrolled by DCKAP Cinemas and distributed by Warner Bros. Pictures.
Other Tamil movies available on Netflix include Oh Kadhal Kanmani, Radio Petti and Lens.
