Mani Ratnam, who had a comeback of sorts with Oh Kadhal Kanmani this year, is all set to begin his next film. He has now chosen Karthi as his leading man for this project, which is said to be a romantic-entertainer to go on floors in September.

As for this new venture with Mani Ratnam, no further information regarding the cast and crew has been revealed. An official announcement is yet awaited.
This is not Karthi’s first collaboration with Mani Ratnam; he had earlier worked as an assistant director during Aayutha Ezhuthu. The actor is also working on Kashmora directed by Gokul, and a bilingual with Nagarjuna, directed by Vamsi Padipelly.
