Prabhu Deva will play the villain in Karthik Subbaraj’s next. Titled Mercury, the film has Sananth, Deepak Paramesh and Remya Nambeesan in lead roles. Said to have no dialogues, the film has cinematographer Tirru, composer Santhosh Narayanan and Kunal Rajan as part of its crew.
The first look of the movie was launched earlier today by actor Prabhu Deva. It comes with the tagline ‘Silence is the most powerful scream’ and is said to be a psychological thriller.

The film was launched earlier this year and is now in post production. A release date will be announced shortly. Subbaraj produces this film through his newly launched Stonebench Films & Originals.
Through his Stonebench Films division, Subbaraj also plans to produce Meyaatha Maan, directed by Rathnakumar with actors Vaibhav and Priya Bhavanishankar in the lead. Santhosh Narayanan joins hands with Pradeep Kumar for the music of this film.
A web series titled Kalla Sirippu, has also been launched. This is financed through Stone Bench’s Originals division.
