Karthik Subbaraj has finished shooting for his film starring Prabhu Deva in the lead. The film completion, without any details about the cast and crew, has been in the dark for some time now.
A PR close to the project confirmed the news. “They are yet to finalise the film’s title. There will be an announcement soon,” he told Silverscreen.
The news of the project first came out early last month, taking most by surprise since the young director was supposed to start a film with Dhanush. However, Karthik’s project with Dhanush isn’t on hold considering the actor went on record to say that the film will go on floors only by October.

National Award winning cinematographer Tirru is part of the project and so is composer Santosh Narayanan.
Prabhu Deva, meanwhile, has signed a slew of projects in the south. He is directing Karuppu Raja Vellai Raja starring Vishal Krishna, Karthi, and Sayyesha Saigal, and is also helming a Hindi action film starring Sooraj Pancholi in the lead.
On the acting front, he will be seen opposite Hansika Motwani in a black comedy called Gulebagavali.
