Actor Karunakaran, who rose to fame with Soodhu Kavvum has been roped in to play a significant role in director Thirukumaran’s Geththu which features Udhayanidhi Stalin and Amy Jackson. Confirming this news to Silverscreen, Karunakaran stated that he will shoot for his portions during the upcoming schedule in Thekkady.

Karunakaran is now busy shooting for director Rajesh’s Vasuvum Saravananum Onna Padichavanga with Arya and Santhanam, and will be completing director Radha Mohan’s Uppu Karuvadu by the end of this month. He is also awaiting the release of Udhayanidhi Stalin’s Nannbenda and Vishnu Vishal’s Indru Netru Naalai.
Amy Jackson, who is currently basking in the success of her film I, will be seen in a traditional avatar. She is essaying the role of a Brahmin girl and will be seen draped in madisar. The official photoshoot for this movie happened on January 28.
