M Karunanidhi, DMK Leader and former Chief Minister of Tamil Nadu, is the latest to fall victim to death hoax. Rumours of his passing took social media by storm late yesterday. It took an official statement from his son, MK Stalin, to set things right again.
Stalin said, “My father is fine and healthy. Rumours about his death or ill health are completely baseless.”
Karunanidhi is 93 years old and has been suffering from age-related ailments for quite sometime now. Earlier this year, he was admitted to a private hospital in Chennai for a minor surgery.
