Kaththi team will begin promotions for the film tomorrow. The audio launch is scheduled to happen on September 18, and the makers are planning a round of promotions to publicize the movie. Some new posters of Kaththi will be launched tomorrow, following which the cast and crew will meet the press.
Lyca Productions’ Subhaskaran is likely to attend the meet and will speak out about the allegations that have been levelled against him. AR Murugadoss, who is currently recuperating at home following a bad bout of food poisoning, will be present alongside stars Vijay and Samantha Ruth Prabhu.
Post-production work for the movie has already begun, and only a few songs are left to be canned. The stars have been dubbing since late last month and a unit source revealed that the film is nearing completion – in time for its Deepavali release.
Kaththi has Vijay in dual roles with Samantha playing his love interest, Jeeva. Neil Nitin Mukesh debuts in Tamil as the baddie while Sathish plays his usual role of the ‘funny friend’. Produced jointly by Lyca and Ayngaran International, the film will go head-to-head with Vikram’s I and Vishal’s Poojai.
