‘Kayal’ Chandran & Brother Deny Allegations Of Cheating Producer

Kayal Movie Stills

PS Chandramouli aka ‘Kayal’ Chandran and his brother PS Raghunanthan have denied the allegations against them of cheating producer Prabhu of Across Productions of Rs 5 crore.

At a press meet held on Monday, the brothers – who run a production company called Two Movie Buffs – made counter allegations that while they were the co-producers of the movie Thittam Pottu Thirudara Kootam, Prabhu wouldn’t let them release the film under the Two Movie Buffs banner.

Chandramouli and Raghunanthan arrived with their attorney and auditor to the press meet to address the issue. “Prabhu came bursting into our office one day and threatened us,” said Raghunanthanan. “This case is a total hoax; Prabhu just wants to harass us. We have documents to prove that we settled accounts with him (Prabhu Venkatachalam).”

Raghunanthan then added that a defamatory case has been filed against Prabhu at the RA Puram police station. “We have also gotten in touch with TFPC president Vishal to help us solve the issue.”
