Keerthi Suresh has been signed on to play the lead role in Rajini Murugan, as we had reported earlier. The actress is making her debut with the yet-untitled Vijay – Vikram Prabhu movie and is elated at the opportunities coming her way in the Tamil film industry. “I have been receiving many offers to act in Tamil for a long time now, but the right kind of scripts came my way only recently. I am part of a very good film with director Vijay sir, Maane Thaene Peye with Krishna and now, I’ve got an exciting opportunity to act with Sivakarthikeyan!” said Keerthi.
Rajini Murugan is directed by Ponram, who was behind last year’s super hit movie Varuthapadatha Valibar Sangam. Thirrupathy Brothers is bankrolling the film.
