Dileep had filed a plea seeking the video clip that was filmed at the time of the abduction. Earlier the prosecution, opposing the plea, had stated that by providing the video evidence, the victim’s life will be put under threat.

The prosecution also raised the concern that if the actor is given the video, it might get leaked to the media as well. The court posted the matter for Wednesday (March 28).

Earlier, the accused was given permission to go through all the other pieces of evidence put in front of the court, following which the actor sought the video evidence as well.

Meanwhile, Dileep’s counsel argued that the same is vital for proving his innocence. He claimed that the video was edited and the special investigation team was yet to ascertain the female voice in it other than that of the victim, Deccan Chronicle reported.

Meanwhile, Dileep’s Kammarasambhavam is currently in the pre-production stages and the promotions for it have started in full swing.
