After several delays, Kick 2, starring Ravi Teja and Rakul Preet Singh, is finally set to release on August 21. According to a source, the delays were caused by misunderstandings between director Surender Reddy and producer Kalyan Ram. As further delays would affect the film’s prospects at the box-office, the two have resolved their differences. As several big releases are scheduled for September, the team was keen to release the film in August. The film also has on board Marathi actor Ravi Kishan and Thala 56 villain Kabir Duhan Singh as the main antagonists.
