Actress Rashmi Gautam, who is working with National award-winning filmmaker Praveen Sattaru in an upcoming film, Guntur Talkies, says she’s excited about being part of the project. She plays a village belle in the comedy-drama, which also features Naresh and Shraddha Das in important roles.
“I wondered what made Praveen consider me for the roles. He could’ve approached anyone, he chose me. I’ll always remember that and be indebted to him,” Rashmi told Silverscreen.
Despite being around in the industry for almost a decade, Rashmi admits luck hasn’t worked in her favour. “Even after working in a critically-acclaimed film like Prasthanam, good offers didn’t come my way. But I don’t regret because television keeps me busy. Rashmi currently anchors reality comedy show Jabardasth.
