Director Samuthirakani’s Kitna will be released as two versions, and both will be made available to the audience. One version is two hours and 15 minutes long, which the filmmaker intends to present to the regular audience. The other version is three hours long, and it will be screened at the Cannes Festival. In an interview to the Times of India, Samuthirakani said that the longer version is being made for the movie-buffs, who wouldn’t mind spending three hours watching a film.
Kitna is also going to be made in all four south Indian languages. Dhansika, who plays the female lead in Tamil, will be seen in the other versions as well. And the director will play the lead in Tamil and Malayalam, while Kishore is being roped in for the Kannada version.
