Actor Ashok Selvan, who is gearing up for the release of his upcoming film Savaale Samaali, has already signed his next – Koothathil Oruvan, directed by Gnanavel. Actress Priya Anand has been paired opposite Ashok Selvan in this breezy romantic film, reported The Times of India. Music director Nivas Prasanna, who composed for Thegidi will be scoring for this film. Attakathi cinematographer Pramod will be handling the cinematography.

Shooting of Koothathil Oruvan will begin by the end of April, said Ashok Selvan. He also claimed that the movie’s storyline is rather simple, and will reach people instantly. Koothathil Oruvan is the actor’s first full-fledged romantic film in his career spanning three years.
Ashok Selvan is now shooting for144 with actor Mirchi Shiva. It is also said that his other film,Varaipadam has been put on hold. The official details about this movie will be announced later.
