Telugu actress Kriti Kharbanda will play the female lead opposite music director turned actor GV Prakash in Bruce Lee. Earlier reports had suggested that actresses Nayanthara and Samantha had been approached for the role. Shooting of Bruce Lee, directed by Prashanth, is expected to go on floors sometime in October.

This movie was previously titled ‘Baasha Engira Antony’. However, the makers were unsuccessful in obtaining the rights of the name of the movie Baasha. Produced by Kenanya films, GV Prakash’s character in the film will be called Bruce Lee. Currently, the cast and crew of Bruce Lee are being finalised by the team.
GV Prakash’s adult comedy Trisha Illana Nayanthara, helmed by debutant director Adhik Ravichandran, was released this month.
