KS Ravikumar In Talks To Direct Balakrishna’s Next

Director KS Ravikumar is in talks to direct a film with Telugu star Balakrishna. According to a DC report, the director has approached the actor for the role of the male lead in his next.

“The director met Balayya and narrated a story which the actor is impressed with, but nothing has been finalised yet. They may have to meet and discuss one more time before making a decision,” a source told DC

If this collaboration does materialise, the film will be Balakrishna’s 102nd as actor.

Balakrishna, whose Gautamiputra Satakarni – marked his 100th release, has been a roaring success in the theatres. The film, based on the life of the 2nd century AD Satavahana ruler, also marked his return to the silver screen after two years.

Thus far, reports suggest that the Telugu actor has stalled filming for his 101th film Rhythu directed by Krishna Vamsi. The 56-year-old will reportedly play a 70-year-old farmer in the movie that also has Bollywood actor Amitabh Bachchan in a cameo.
