The film will go on floors by the end of 2021.
The motion poster shared by Kapoor features the primary cast as a group of anthropomorphic dogs.
According to a press release, Kuttey is written by the father-son duo and is a caper-thriller. The film is currently in the pre-production stage.
Aasmaan Bhardwaj has previously assisted his father on films like 7 Khoon Maaf, Matru Ki Bijlee Ka Mandola, and Pataakha.
Kuttey is produced by Luv Ranjan, Vishal Bhardwaj, Ankur Garg, and Rekha Bhardwaj under the banner of Luv Films and Vishal Bhardwaj Films, and presented by Gulshan Kumar and Bhushan Kumar’s T-Series. The film’s music will be scored by Vishal Bhardwaj with lyrics penned by Gulzar.
Talking about the film, Vishal Bhardwaj said in a press release, “Kuttey is extremely special to me as it is my first collaboration with Aasmaan and I’m excited to see what he does with it. I have worked with Naseer sahab, Tabu, Konkona, and Radhika in different films throughout my career and Aasmaan has brought them all together in one film.”
