Lakshmi Menon will play the female lead in Eng Mang Sang. The actress will join Prabhu Deva in the period film. While Lakshmi plays a Bharathanatyam dancer in the movie, Prabhu Deva essays the role of a Kung Fu Master. Said to be a comedy, the film also has Thankar Bachan in the role of Prabhu Deva’s father.
Earlier, Catherine Tresa was in talks to play the female lead in this movie.
Debutant Arjun directs this film that has RJ Balaji playing the actor’s friend.
The film will go on floors on February 17, and is likely to be bankrolled by Prabhu Deva through his home banner.
