Actress Lakshmi Menon, who is currently shooting for Thala 56, is likely to play the female lead in director Durai Senthilkumar’s upcoming film with Dhanush. The team had earlier approached Hindi actress Vidya Balan, but the actress turned down the offer citing date issues. This film will see Dhanush in a dual role as two brothers. Shooting begins in October after Dhanush completes work on Prabhu Solomon’s film. Meanwhile, Lakshmi Menon’s Sippai is awaiting release.
