Latha Rajinikanth’s School Lands In Legal Trouble, Premises Vacated

The Ashram school premises on Race Course Road, Guindy, Chennai was reportedly locked by the owner earlier today, after the administration failed to clear rent dues. The school is run by Latha Rajinikanth, wife of actor Rajinikanth.

A spokesperson for the Rajinikanth family said: “We have a previous rent agreement with the owner which was thrown out illegally recently. Due to some disputes in the owner’s family, various people have come to our offices asking for an increase in rent. As this violates our agreement with Venkateswarulu (owner), we have not entertained. The matter eventually snowballed into a legal tangle. It is currently sub-judice.”

 

 

Through a statement, the Ashram’s management said that they will file a lawsuit against the owner and his family members for causing agony to the teachers and students. They have also decided to vacate the premises as soon as possible.
