Lingaa climax portions were shot over the weekend. Popular stunt choreographer Lee Whittaker, who was part of Ajith’s Arrambham, has devised a ‘never-before-seen’ sequence for the final portions of the flick. Rajinikanth is part of this particular scene along with Anushka Shetty, said a source on the sets of the film. Telugu actor Jagapathi Babu, who plays the baddie in this project, also features in the sequence, we hear.
Meanwhile, the team is waiting for AR Rahman’s score to start filming the songs. A huge introductory number for the Superstar will be shot in the city while the team will fly to Europe for a romantic number. With around 80 percent of the film complete, it certainly looks like the project will wind up by the end of next month. Plans are on to release the film on December 12 (Rajinikanth’s birthday).
Rajinikanth essays dual roles in Lingaa, which also stars Sonakshi Sinha and Anushka Shetty. KS Ravikumar directs the flick while Ratnavelu pans the camera.
