Directors Sundar C, Lingusamy, Perarasu and Ekambavanan were elected unopposed for the post of Joint Secretaries at the Tamil Nadu Film Director’s Association (TANTIS). Sources close to TANTIS stated that five members including Ellaiyappan alias JackieRaj withdrew from the elections which were supposed to be held tomorrow.
Recently, TANTIS’s President Vikraman, Secretary RK Selvamani, Treasurer V Sekar and Vice Presidents KS Ravikumar and P Vasu were also elected unopposed; no members from the association were willing to contest in the election because of which the members of 2014 were allowed to continue this year as well.
