Love Hostel: Vikrant Massey, Sanya Malhotra and Bobby Deol to Star in Upcoming Crime Thriller 

Actors Vikrant Massey, Sanya Malhotra, and Bobby Deol are set to star in the upcoming crime thriller Love Hostel.

The film is directed by Shanker Raman and bankrolled under the banner of Red Chillies Entertainment and Drishyam Films. It is co-produced by Gauri Khan, Manish Mundra, and Gaurav Verma.

According to the makers, the film is set against the backdrop of rustic northern India, and traces the journey of a young couple, who is being chased by a mercenary.

“The star-crossed lovers take on the entire world and then some more in search of their fairytale ending. This is a survival tale in the game of power, money and principles, with mayhem and bloodshed,” the filmmakers wrote on social media.

Massey announced the same on Instagram and wrote, “Excited to be a part of @redchilliesent and @drishyamfilms next, #LoveHostel. Also starring @sanyamalhotra_ & @iambobbydeol Directed by @shanksthekid and produced by @gaurikhan @mundramanish & @_gauravverma,”

Massey had a slew of releases in 2020, including Chhapaak (co-starring Deepika Padukone), which was his last theatrical release, and three Netflix releases- Cargo (co-starring Shweta Tripathi), Dolly Kitty Aur Woh Chamakte Sitare (co-starring Bhumi Pednekar and Konkona Sen Sharma) and Ginny Weds Sunny (co-starring Yami Gautam). His has an upcoming mystery thriller (Haseen Dillruba) lined up, co-starring  Taapsee Pannu

Malhotra was last seen in Shakuntala Devi, co-starring Vidya Balan. The film had a world premiere on Amazon Prime Video. Malhotra will be seen in Anurag Basu‘s dark crime comedy anthology Ludo, co-starring Aditya Roy Kapur. The anthology will premiere on Netflix this Diwali. The actor is also filming for Hindi comedy-drama Pagglait featuring Sayani Gupta.

Deol’s latest projects include Netflix action-thriller Class of ’83, produced by Red Chillies Entertainment, and MX Player original crime drama web series Aashram directed by Prakash Jha. Love Hostel marks the second film for the actor in collaboration with Red Chillies Entertainment.
