Actor Madhavan and debutant actress Ritika Singh’s Irudhi Sutru (Saala Khadoos in Hindi) will release simultaneously in both languages on January 29, 2016. UTV Motion Pictures, along with Rajkumar Hirani Films and Tri Color Films will be distributing the film in both languages. Irudhi Sutru has been directed by Sudha Kongara Prasad, and features Mumtaz Sorcar, Nasser, Radha Ravi, and Kaali Venkat in supporting roles.

Madhavan, who plays a well-built boxing coach, has said in multiple interviews that he is looking forward to the release of Irudhi Sutru as he has invested a lot of time and effort on getting the right look for the film. Shooting has been ongoing since 2014. After Tanu Weds Manu Returns, Madhavan hadn’t sign any new films, barring Irudhi Sutru / Saala Khadoos.
Irudhi Sutru has music composed by Santhosh Narayanan. Also on the technical team are cinematographer Sivakumar Vijayan and editor Sathish Suriya.
