The first look of the Kamal Haasan starrer, Thoonga Vanam, was released a few days back. It featured Kamal kissing an actress whose face wasn’t shown. While it was speculated that the actress might be Trisha, sources now tell us that it is Madhu Shalini, who plays a supporting role in the film.
Also, Sampath Kumar, who impressed us time and again with his performances in films like Saroja and Aaranya Kaandam is also expected to join the sets of the film in Hyderabad, starting today.
Meanwhile, we also got to see actors Trisha and Prakash Raj tweet out pictures of Kamal Haasan himself helping them out with makeup on the sets of the film:

Prominent actors Manisha Koirala and Kishore play integral roles in Thoonga Vanam which will have tunes composed by Kamal’s current favorite, Ghibran. Sanu Varghese helms the camera while Kamal’s long time associate, Rajesh directs the film.
