Actress Shruti Haasan, who is currently busy promoting Koratala Siva’s Srimanthudu, is all praises for her co-star Mahesh Babu, whom she describes as a disciplined and grounded actor. “Mahesh’s performance in the film is exceptional. It will work in the film’s favour,” says Shruti.
Srimanthudu, which is set to hit cinemas on August 7, has Shruti playing Mahesh Babu’s love interest for the first time. Previously, she appeared alongside the actor in a song sequence in Aagadu.
Jointly produced by Mahesh and Mythri Movie Makers, the film is about a multimillionaire’s attempt to adopt a village. The film also stars Rajendra Prasad, Jagapathi Babu, Rahul Ravindran and Harish Uthaman in important roles.
