Superstar Mahesh Babu is said to be one of the chief guests at the audio launch of Vijay-starrer Puli, which will happen in Chennai on August 2. It’s believed that besides Mahesh, Mohanlal and Salman Khan are also expected to attend the event. When contacted, Mahesh’s wife Namrata Shirodkar told Silverscreen: “I’m not sure whether he’s going to attend. He’s currently not in the country.”

According to a source, Mahesh will soon be in Chennai to release the audio of the Tamil version of Srimanthudu. Originally slated to happen on July 31, the event has now been pushed to August 4. The source said that Mahesh plans to spend an extra day to be present at the audio launch of Puli. Directed by Chimbu Deven, the film also stars Shruti Haasan, Hansika Motwani, Sridevi and Sudeep in important roles. It’s said to be a fantasy drama laced with time-travel concept.
