The film is expected to be a romantic thriller and a source tells us that the film might be shot extensively in the US. The last time Mahesh Babu acted in a thriller, was in 1- Nenokkadine (2014). Though the film was a box office failure, Mahesh’s performance received positive reviews. Director Vamshi Paidipally made the Telugu/Tamil film Oopiri/Thozha this year, starring Nagarjuna and Karthi. The film was fairly successful. Mahesh Babu’s previous release, Brahmotsavam was also announced as a bilingual project but was made as a Telugu film.

Meanwhile, the shooting of the A R Murugadoss project commenced last month. The film has actor S J Suryah and Rakul Preet Singh on board. Harris Jayaraj will compose the music, and Santosh Shivan is the cinematographer. The latest development is that stunt choreographers, Anbu and Arivu have joined the crew of this film.
