Superstar Mahesh Babu will unveil the audio of Selvandhan, the Tamil version (dubbed) of his Telugu film, Srimanthudu on July 31 in Chennai. The Tamil version will be simultaneously released alongside the Telugu version on August 7.
Directed by Koratala Siva, the film stars Shruti Haasan as Mahesh’s love interest. It’s said to be the story of a multi-millionaire who decides to adopt a village, and the challenges he faces in the process. Mahesh has also turned producer with the film, which is jointly produced by Mythri Movie Makers. Following the success of Baahubali, Mahesh’s Srimanthudu becomes the first big-budget Telugu film to have a parallel release in Tamil as well.
