Mahima Nambiar has signed on to act in the romantic drama Agathinai. The film is directed by UP Maruthu and is produced by Sri Harini Pictures. Newbie actor Varma plays the male lead while Aadukalam Naren plays a key role in the film. Lyricist Vairamuthu has written all the songs for the project. Speaking about the movie, the director said,”the film is a very proper love story. It is very clean and there won’t be any unnecessary sleaze in it.”
Maria Manohar has composed music while Akilan has handled the cinematography. Agathinai was shot in and around Tamil Nadu and was made on a modest budget. The filming has been completed and will release soon.
