Main Hoon Rajinikanth has become Main Hoon Rajini now following a lawsuit by actor Rajinikanth. The director of the film, Faisal has revealed in a recent interview to a daily that renaming the film was not his original decision. “The film is releasing on the 17th of this month. Since I am a huge Rajini fan and didn’t want to disrespect him in any way, I went ahead with the change. I didn’t want my producer to incur any loss either.”
Despite the change, the Superstar’s side has still gone ahead with the lawsuit. The actor’s lawyer told us, “Rajinikanth or Rajini, the title is still a problem for us. We will pursue the matter in court as we were not informed about it at all.”
