Malayalam Actor Kalabhavan Abi Passes Away
Known for his comedy and mimicry, Malayalam actor Kalabhavan Abi died at a hospital in Kochi this morning.
The actor’s platelet count had dramatically dropped, while he was being treated for dengue in the hospital. According to an India Today report, he was also battling cancer for the last few months and was under treatment at the hospital where he died.
The actor has been a part of films such as Mazhavil Koodaram, Aniyathipravu, Kireedamillatha Rajakkanmar, Mimics Action 500 and Resikan, having worked in more than 50 films.

‘Swag Se Swagat’ a catchy tune from Salman Khan and Katrina Kaif’s film Tiger Zinda Hai is reportedly facing plagiarism accusations on social media. Several users have pointed out that the song composed by Vishal-Shekhar is eerily similar to ‘The Horns’ by DJ Katch.
Directed by Ali Abbas Zafar, the film is a sequel to Ek Tha Tiger and is scheduled to release in theatres on 22 December.

Keerthy Suresh is likely to collaborate with her Bairavaa co-star, Vijay, in AR Murugadoss’ Thalapathy 62. According to Hindustan Times, the actress is on the verge of coming on board for the project since the director believes that the character would suit her.

Kirron Kher Victim-Shames Rape Survivor
Bollywood actress and Chandigarh’s BJP MP Kirron Kher on Wednesday told a gang-rape survivor that she shouldn’t have boarded the autorickshaw which already had three men sitting.
The girl was allegedly gang raped by three men on November 17 evening after she got into a shared autorickshaw to go back to her paying guest accommodation in Mohali.
Later, Kher clarified that her statement as “only in the context of certain precautions” that women should take and that it was “not intended to blame the victim or shaming her”.
