The Malayalam original was produced by Vijay Babu as well.

Incidentally, the two producers are also collaborating on the upcoming Hindi remake of the 2017 Malayalam film Angamaly Diaries.

Abundantia Entertainment has always believed in combining meaningful story-telling with heart-warming entertainment and the Hindi remake of #Home is another step in that journey.”

He also noted that the Angamaly Diaries remake is under development.

The makers are yet to announce the cast and crew for the Hindi remake of #Home.

Written and directed by Kerala State Award-winning filmmaker Rojin Thomas, #Home premiered on Amazon Prime Video on August 19. According to the streaming platform, it is a light-hearted and thought-provoking family drama about a humble but technologically-challenged old man, Oliver (Indrans), who constantly strives to remain close to his two social media-hooked sons.

The film garnered positive responses, especially for Indrans’ performance. #Home also featured actors Sreenath Bhasi, Manju Pillai, Nalsen, Srikanth Murali, and Johny Antony, among others
