A man died while watching Telugu horror film Intlo Deyyam Naakem Bayam. The incident happened in Siddipet on January 3, 2017. According to police, the man has been identified as 30-year-old Shadul.

Shadul is said to have come alone to watch the film at Srinivasa Theatre in Siddipet Town. He is said to have collapsed during the first half of the film. No one noticed until the theatre lights were switched on during the interval. Shadul was said to be unconscious and on the floor. As he was unresponsive, an ambulance was called to take him to the hospital, where he was declared dead.
It is not yet known if the heart attack was induced due to a previously undetected condition, though doctors have said that it is a strong possibility.
Police have registered a case and are currently investigating.
Intlo Deyyam Naakem Bayyam has Allari Naresh and Rajendra Prasad in the lead roles. The film released on 30 December, and is a horror-comedy.
