Manam Mayangudhey, directed by newbie KV Rajeev, is set in the unglamourous world of postal couriers. The plot follows Madhu a delivery boy from the slums of Chennai. Rigid in his beliefs and unpolished in his ways, Mahdu lives a carefree life until his mother falls ill. The family goes into debt, and the hero goes down a dark path. Life is never the same again.

Director KV Rajeev is quite confident that his movie will do well. He was given this ‘opportunity of a lifetime’ despite his lack of experience and intends to make the most of it. “I haven’t really worked as an assistant to directors. I was part of the visual effects team for a lot of movies and decided to direct!”
This is Actor Lagubaran’s second movie after Raattinam. He is paired with Actress Riya in the movie and has gone through intense training for his role in the flick. Comedian Robo Shankar, Director Manoj Kumar, ‘Vidiyum Munn’ Vinoth and Nellai Siva make up the rest of the cast. Bhavan composes the music. The movie is produced by Karumari Productions and the audio is expected soon.
