Malayali girl Manjima Mohan has, reportedly, been signed on to play the female lead in Gautam Vasudev Menon’s upcoming STR-starrer Achcham Enbadhu Madamaiyada.

A source close to the director tells us that child artist-turned-heroine Manjima was signed on to play STR’s love interest after Pallavi Subhash walked out of the project, citing date issues. Also, sources say that Manjima will replicate her role in the Telugu version of the film, opposite Naga Chaitanya. Official confirmation is awaited on the same, but reports indicate that the team is all set to begin shoot from next week.
Interestingly, Manjima Mohan made her come back as heroine recently with the Malayalam blockbuster Oru Vadakkan Selfie, in which there were several gags involving the hero Nivin Pauly’s desire to become Gautham Menon’s assistant.
