Actress Mannara Chopra has not been signed for a role in Mahesh Babu-starrer Brahmotasavam, contrary to media speculation. A source from PVP Cinemas, the producers of the movie, denied media reports that Mannara had been roped in for a special appearance in the movie. The source added that PVP Cinemas had not approached Mannara for a role at all.
Mannara’s manager reached out to PVP cinemas to find out if she has a role after reading about it in the papers, and this prompted the denial.
The film, which will be directed by Srikanth Addala, is set to go on floors in July. It marks Mahesh’s second film with Addala after Seethamma Vakitlo Sirimalle Chettu. The film features Rakul Preet Singh as the female lead, while Mickey J Meyer has been roped in as the composer.
