Director Venkat Prabhu, on Wednesday, took to Twitter to clarify that his latest project, Mass, is not a 3D film.
An official statement from Eros International, which has secured the world-wide rights of the film, had called Masss ‘The first Tamil film to be shot in 3D from the beginning’. However, Venkat Prabhu denied the claim:
“Wow! Guys guys
#Masss is not on 3D! Already trying something new so don’t wanna make our lives even more complicated than it is already,” he tweeted.
Masss has Suriya, Nayantara and Pranitha in lead roles. Composer Yuvanshankar Raja has been roped in to score music.
Studio Green, which had earlier collaborated with Eros International for the music of films like Darling and Tamilukku En Ondrai Aluthavum, is also a part of the project.
