The audio launch for the Nayanthara-starrer Maya has been scheduled for July 13, tweeted producer SR Prabhu. Post-production work is underway and an official confirmation on the release is expected shortly. Maya will feature Nayanthara as a ghost and actor Aari as a painter. Aari trained in painting with art director Ramalingam to lend authenticity to his role, which has several close-up shots of him painting.
Directed by Ashwin Saravanan, Maya also features Karunas (of Sutta Kadhai fame) and Lakshmi Priyaa Chandramouli. Produced by Potential Studios and distributed by Dream Warrior Pictures, the film has music scored by Ron Ethan Yohaan.
