Missing Nashik Girls Located in Mumbai; Had Come To See SRK

Six young girls from Nashik, Maharashtra, who were reported missing from their home on May 23, were traced to Mumbai. The Hindu reports that the girls are all fans of Shahrukh Khan, and had come to Mumbai and to the star’s house, in order to see him in person. 

According to reports, the six girls – all cousins between the ages of 12 and 15 – left their home in Nashik, went to a famous temple nearby, and boarded a train to Mumbai. Police who were tasked with the search, traced them to ‘Mannat’, SRK’s bungalow overlooking Bandra beach. Police officers say that the girls reached Mumbai in the hopes of seeing their idol in person. 

The girls were then escorted to Nashik by the police, and returned to their family after counselling.
