The liveliest couple in the indie film industry – Greta Gerwig and Noah Baumbach – are back with yet another new generation comedy-drama set in New York. Their previous venture – Frances Ha – was critically acclaimed and was loved by film-goers across the globe. Their latest flick, which has Greta in the lead role, revolves around two single women in New York and is aptly titled as Mistress America.
Noah Baumbach’s first release in the year was While We Are Young, starring Ben Stiller and Naomi Watts in the lead.
The highlight of Mistress America is Greta Gerwig, who has also co-written the film with her partner Noah. Her bubbly, energetic and funny disposition easily makes her one of the most humourous females we have in film industry right now.
