Actress Monica tied the knot with Chennai based business man Malik today. According to Deccan Chronicle, the marriage with Malik – a family friend – was arranged. Monica will discontinue acting in films after her wedding, and will assist her husband with his business.
As a child actor, Monica appeared in popular films like Indira, Sathileelavathi, and Iruvar. She later acted in movies that included Azhagi and Imsai Arasan 23m Pulikesi.
Monica recently revealed that she had converted to Islam, and had changed her name to MG Raheema.
