Actor Rajendran, popularly known as Motta Rajendran, laughs out loud at rumours of him turning producer. Speaking to Silverscreen, Rajendran says, “Am I producing a film? No Chance (laughs). This rumour is absolutely baseless. I’m not even a fine actor as yet, and I have to go a long way in this industry. So, at this point in time, there is no way that I will enter the production business.”

Rajendran is currently acting in Vijay’s Mersal, Ponram’s untitled film with Sivakarthikeyan and Odi Odi Uzhaikkanum with Santhanam.”I play a prominent role in all these films. I am not supposed to reveal anything more. I hope to work on more projects this year.”
Rajendran got his first break in films with Bala’s Naan Kadavul. Ask him if he is part of the director’s Naachiyaar, which is currently underproduction, and he says, “I’m yet to get a call from him.”
While Mersal is scheduled for Deepavali, Sivakarthikeyan’s film and Odi Odi Uzhaikanum are yet to get a release date.
