GR Adithya, director of the upcoming film Savarakathi, will play the role of Mammootty’s younger brother in Ram’s directorial, Peranbu. Ram made the announcement at the teaser-audio launch of Savarakathi. Adithya also happens to be the younger brother of director Mysskin.
Ram, who plays the protagonist in Savarakathi said that Adithya was an extra-ordinary actor. “He explained every scene by acting it out, and that is why I chose him to play Mammootty’s younger brother in Peranbu,” he said at the event.

Peranbu is written and directed by Ram and produced by P. L. Thenappan. The film features Mammootty and Anjali in the lead roles. Featuring music composed by Yuvan Shankar Raja, the film also stars Sarathkumar, Suraj Venjaramood, Kaniha and Sadhana, the child artiste from Ram’s Thanga Meengal.
‘Savarakathi‘ is written by Mysskin who has also played the lead antagonist role in the film, a comedy. Savarakathi has music composed by Arrol Corell and is produced by Mysskin under his Lonewolf Productions banner.
