Naga Chaitanya and Samantha Ruth Prabhu, a real life couple whose marriage is slated to take place this October, are reportedly teaming up for a project soon.
According to a Deccan Chronicle report, the film will be directed by Maruthi Dasari. A source reveals that the film is likely to begin in November, post the couple’s wedding ceremony.
“Maruthi had a very interesting plot in hand. It piqued the couple’s interest and they were keen to explore it further. The director will begin work on it soon,” the source told DC.

Maruthi, meanwhile, is currently busy with Mahanubhavudu starring Sharwanand and Mehreen Pirzada. The film is said to be a romantic-action comedy and is expected to release late September.
This isn’t the first film offered to the couple post their engagement. In March, reports surfaced that the couple would star together in a film by Trivikram, but dropped out of it as the two cited date issues.
Samantha Ruth Prabhu has Aneethi Kathaigal, Irumbu Thirai, Mersal, Raju Gari Gadhi 2 in varying stages of production. Naga Chaitanya has Yuddham Sharanam with Lavanya Tripathi.
